Chyawanprash is a traditional Indian herbal spread made from a blend of plants and spices, typically consumed daily for wellness. This project reimagines its packaging for the U.S. market while preserving its cultural roots.
The goal was to create a design that feels approachable to a Western audience without losing its Ayurvedic heritage. I focused on a clean, minimal layout paired with traditional elements to balance modern retail appeal with authenticity.
Custom mandala illustrations were created to subtly reference Indian visual culture, and the rich red palette was retained to symbolize vitality and tradition. I redesigned both the product logo and the parent company’s logo, developing a custom handwritten wordmark to add warmth and originality to the brand.
This redesign bridges heritage and contemporary packaging, positioning Chyawanprash as a globally relevant wellness product.
