PalmPass is a mobile app designed to simplify public transportation across South Florida. The platform consolidates all available travel options buses, rail, ride-shares, and more into one clear interface, providing users with transparent pricing, estimated timings, and route comparisons from point A to point B.
This project was driven by personal experience. As an international student without a car, navigating transportation systems felt overwhelming and confusing. Existing apps often presented too much information in complex layouts, making it easy to get lost while simply trying to get somewhere. PalmPass was created to address that friction.
The core focus of the design is clarity and ease of navigation. The interface prioritizes intuitive wayfinding, simplified route breakdowns, and minimal visual noise, ensuring users can make quick decisions with confidence.
The visual identity reflects a Floridian aesthetic through a clean, modern logo inspired by palm imagery and simple graphic elements. The branding balances approachability and functionality, reinforcing the app’s purpose: making transportation feel accessible, stress-free, and easy to understand.
